I've played very little of the new UT and it has the same skipping framerate deal as UT2k3&4 did. No matter how far down you put the setting its like a frame is missing or something.

QB is having trouble with GTX 980's.

Most of the recommended requirements for these games are GTX 970's which are $300+.

I'm not taking medium settings that are slightly better than console.. I'm talking about the screens hermits post with all the bells and whistles.

That shit requires more powerful hardware.

Well this upgrade is not like the upgrade you do on PC,you are buying a complete system not a part,which many are not very fun of doing,i don't matter but i have also have being gaming on PC since mid 90's alto console was my primary platform.

Time change but the same could be say about Hermits who love upgrade yet on my thread they were all anal about the PS4 being upgraded only very few who have claim to be hermits actually claimed they would jump into the PS4 because it is a good deal.

So you have 2 sides of the same thing.

Some has even gone as far as making some pathetic ass excuses like claiming sony will not to win again developers as if it was a successor console like PS3 to PS4,or that it would create some kind of fragmentation PC gamers talking about fragmentation on PS4 when it uses components from the same vendor and the CPU is even the same.

That is the sort of thinking you would expect from a butthurt lemming but from a Hermit that is use to PC games which support more than 100 different hardware configurations at a time,that is poor uncut damage control probably because now the PS4 Neo is stronger that some rigs here.

And after generations of fun making about weak hardware,now sony introduce a way to not be that behind and hermits are the first against it...lol

All games but exclusives were already a crappy version of PC games,lets stop pretending like fools that some how the PS4 was at even field with PC it wasn't,so yeah normal PS4 owners will get the same water down version they have being getting since 2013 nothing new there,but now there is a better version that that on consoles to and still will be inferior to PC.

Fact is Hermits should be happy about this because sony is upgrading and they love upgrade,not only that is upgrading to a pretty powerful GPU that for $400 is a freaking good deal,there will be no $400 PC running Polaris 10 any time soon.

I'm all for the upgrades, but as a gaming fan I think it's bad business leaving fans who invested into your vision on the ropes in favor your new toy. If this New PS4k wasn't liberally compatible I'd give 2 craps about it as well. You have no idea what "PS4k" is.

The NEO will not supplant the current PS4, but will exist alongside of it and use the same user environment. The PS4 and NEO will use the same PSN store, connect to the same online communities, and offer the same user experience, so expect to see the same cross media bar that you’re used to. Players will be able to retain all of the purchases they made on the PS4.

Sony seems committed to keeping the NEO and the original PS4 player bases connected. As such, there will beno NEO-only games, and Sony will not let developers separate NEO users from original PS4 players while playing on PSN. Likewise, Sony explicitly and repeatedly states that developers cannot offer exclusive gameplay options or special unlockables for NEO players—so don’t expect NEO owners to get a level editor or a special Rocket League car that you won’t have access to on your original PS4. That said, so long as both systems have the same feature, the NEO can run an improved version. A local co-op game that features four players on the base PS4 could offer an eight player co-op mode on the NEO, for instance. But again, don't expect those differences to transfer to online modes.

PS4 Base and NEO versions of a game will also need to have parity with regard to peripheral support. So don’t expect NEO Games to have exclusive VR modes.Sony makes no mention of PlayStation VR in the docs we've seen, so it's hard to know what that means for the persistent rumors that this upgraded PS4 will be able to support PSVR without the "breakout box" that the headset ships with. That said, so long as the NEO's upgrades apply to PSVR games, developers should be able to get even more performance out of Sony's VR headset.
