Alright, so recently I've been wanting to record some Oblivion footage, and for a while now I have been recording with FRAPS (Full version) and for the most part, it has served me well. but this tme round, the FPS drops to literally around 10 for a few seconds, and even though I'm set to record at 60 FPS, I'm staying at around 15 FPS. Even after I cleared out a whole bunch of space on my hard drive (Leaving me with 49 GB of memory left, more than enough for FRAPS) and tried it out with a simpler, less resource-hogging game (Even though Oblivion is pretty easy to handle on my computer anyways) (The game was SWAT 4) it still lagged (BTW my settings this time round were all the same except for FPS, which was halfed: 30 FPS, Half Size, Record Stereo) I once had this kind of weird problem with Fallout 3 (First time I recorded, it barely dipped at all, but after shutting down the game and booting it back up, the FPS dipped insanely low) and I was wondering if anyone could help me with this?

For a while now, I've been trading games into EB, and for a while, I got a fair enough deal (They qould give me about half of the money that they would sell it at), but recently, they've gone down the same route as Gamestop, blatantly ripping me off (I get $60 for an Xbox 360 pro with the 20 GB Hard drive, and they sell the 360 at $160, and the HDD at $60. Trading in a DS lite gets me $25 and they sell it at $100. Isnt that fair?) so I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to trade in games and get a fair deal (Possibly in Southern Ontario)?

Alright, first, to list off everything I ave done:

Turned off FRAPS

Turned off all P2P programs

turned off all messaging programs

Turned off all virus protection

Unblocked Steam and HL2.eve on my Windows Vista Firewall

Restarted Steam

Restarted my computer and did the same thing again

connected my computer directly to my modem

Checked my standing with VAC (it was good)

And none of these have worked, I have also tried other games other than Zombie Master, same thing, I've tried multiple servers, still, no dice. And no one else is crashing like this either.

Also, Right before this happened, Zombie Master failed to download ZM_obstacle.bsp, and I googled it to find the map, there were no downloads, so I closed it off.

And whenever it crashes, it just takes me back to the menu screen with a notice saying how I could not maintain a secure connection to VAC.

Please help.

Dead Rising or Red Faction Guerrilla?

Used to have dead Rising, loved it, but it broke while back. I loved it, but I also love Destructable environments, and Red Faction may feel a lot more fresh (and I liked the demo) so which one should I get?

Well, lucky for me, My copy of DR got scratched beyond repair recently, and I've been debating wether I should re-purchase it, or if I should get Red Faction instead.

My main problem here is that I loved DR, but I also love destructable environments, and Red Faction would be a fresh experience.

quotes the IGN review first? I mean, seriously, just about every TV spot or trailer I have seen released just before release date quotes IGN's review. Why? No one likes them, they are the most biased and retarded site whenever it comes to reviewing, so why not quote one of the more trusted review sites that at least give some sort of legitimate review, like GameTrailers or something (Yeah, they can be pretty biased too, but so what, their alot better than most "proffesional" review sites)

GTA IV was boring, but I've never played MGS4, so I cant say.

well, its been pretty obvious that its MGS (I mean, the tags to the site have MGS in them and its using MGS 4 text) but why is there an upper case E? and where does the 3 come from? will this be a remake? the story of Big Boss before Metal Gear 1 and 2? or is the 3 actually just the E backwards?
