So there's no "grey" bar that loads the video before the "red" bar anymore? I usually wait for the grey bar to fully load before watching a video, or else with my slow internet I have to stop the video every few seconds to wait for it to load a little bit.
Perhaps I'm a minority, though. Who else has slow internet that takes forever to load a stupid bar?
Can I have a show of hands? (or I guess "Likes" because hand symbols are now considered retro and outdated)
I guess it's possible that her shirt tore just the "right" way for her to tie it into a bikini.
Course, you would think she could steal a decent shirt or jacket off of one of the enemies she snipes, but maybe the corpses disappear before she can reach them, like they do in other games.
Chances are, it's just meant for kids. No 3d slider so they can't hurt their eyes (if it does hurt their eyes), no hinge so its damn near impossible to break in half, and a more squarish design with rounded edges means it will be more likely to roll when inevitably dropped. Plus, it's a cross between a 3DS and an iPad, and all the cool kids have 3DSs and iPads.
Maybe with the 2DS sp, they'll innovate by COMBINING the screens into ONE!!! How cool would that be?!?!?!!
"Although a motive for the shooting is unknown at this time, investigators have learned that the juvenile suspect was playing a video game on the Play Station III--Grand Theft Auto IV--a realistic game that has been associated with encouraging violence and awards points to players for killing people, just minutes before the homicide occurred,"
For crying out loud, even an stupid, violent, trigger happy gamer such as myself could tear that statement to pieces.
1) motive, dummy
2) HAS GTA been associated with "encouraging violence"? Has it been scientifically proven? Or is it just your own uninformed opinion?
3)How often does this kid play GTA?
4) Do police academies teach officers to blame a crime on inanimate objects to finish a case quickly?
Great, now I got myself all worked up over yet another stupid video game violence article. And bitching about it here isn't going to change these idiots' minds. Maybe I should go trolling on an anti-gaming site. Anyone care to join me?
Great show Danny! I never thought of the social side of these game shows.
Due to chronic illness, I'm not able to visit these game shows, as much as I would like to. The preparation required for me to travel long distances is too exhausting. I would probably sleep through the entire show once I got to whatever city it was in!
I have always found it hard to socialize on the internet, and I don't game much online, but it sounds like it would be great to go to these shows and interact with other gamers without bandwidth and a monitor in between.
Don't be fooled. This is merely a cross-corporate initiave between Sony and Nintendo to raise hype for the unannounced remakes of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.
