ehh IMO razer krait shouldnt be on there... i think it was a mouse designed for MMORPG's and RTS games. It just isnt a very good mouse overall.

Yeah great list man.

I would add icemat second edition and razer eXactmat to pads. IMO those 2 are the best.

And the ****** n52 and the soon to come ******/Razer n52te (looks awesome)

Also the Razer Diamondback 3G and non 3G

Soon to come Razer Lachesis mouse...and Razer Lycosa Keyboard could be added as well

I tagged this thread as it could be some good help for anyone looking for good peripherals.

IMHO, I definantly recommend Razer products...lol i love em...but they are expensive. But i've gotten what i paid for.
I recommend the Senhessier 550 for headphones.
and definantly go Dell for a gaming lcd.

3DMark is SO STUPID, and I have no idea WTF it's even used. It's so pointless... But I'm mostly just bitter because I get a below-average score despite running a really great PC. :) I only get about 8700 on my OC'd E670 with stock 8800gts 320mb, while others on the same rig are getting all the way up into the 11000s. I'm forced to get a lower score because I have 4 GB of RAM instead of 2 and running Vista instead of XP? IT"S SO POINTLESS AND I HATE IT!

But seriously, why in the world do people care? When one guy is getting 8000 and another is getting 11000 running the exact same rig, you got to believe this is totally BS. Shouldn't there be a much better benchmarking tool out there than this crap? It doesn't seem reliable or consistent at all.

I find 3DMark very consistant. Every time you run it with the same settings on your comp...you get practically the same score. It all depends on how you tweak things. Getting 11000 with the exact same rig... mainly means they overclocked their gpu also, Unlike you. It is definantly not BS, or else they wouldnt have overclocking teams tweaking rigs solely for getting the highest score.

I would stick with the gtx for later games...

But i would really change the HDD to a bigger one instead of faster one.... you'll see quickly on how 150GB is little now.

I think the GTS is definantly good enough for your current monitor. You will be able to run current games at max at your prefered res, you just cant max crysis, no matter which you get. If you do ever plan on upgrading the monitor, get the GTX as others said. But what i would do is get the GTS, and use the extra money to get a 320gig hd also. That way you can put os and games on the raptor, and store all the other stuff on the 320 gig.

Just wondering what you guys think of my pc, and how itll run future games such as gears of war and crysis @ 720p.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400

2Gb DDR 667Mhz

BFG 8800GTS 320Mb OC

160Gb 7200 RPM SATA HDD

Cheers

beardtm

720p is just a widescreen hdtv resolution...If you have a computer monitor chances are it can do a higher res...depending on the size/type.
It should run the games ok...and i mean ok, but not awesome.
