Agreed, but I will be SLI'ing the 7600GT in a few weeks and I'm sure I'll get some incredible performance for the money.  I'm saving the big money for Nvidia's next generation.

There's sure some nice PC's on here. Here's mine, just finished it this January. I got a Chieftech case but then cleaned the inside with a brillow pad and painted it with black Krylon Fushion.

For all of you with old rigs that want to upgrade, you should get a Sempron because they overclock like crazy. Get the Biostar Tforce board with onboard graphics which are pretty good and later add a PCI-E video card. 1GB of ram is only $80 and keep everything else and you've got a brand new rig for about $250 :P

Im no computer expert, but ive got a pretty good pc.(Excuse bad grammar)

Its a custom rig with two 3 ghz processors or something, 4 GeForce 7900 GX2 cards(yeah dont even ask me how, my dad got this to work my experience with building computers goes as far as toy lego computers, he said SLI or something) Some very noisy cooling system. A physics card or something, 4 GB's of RAM and 2 terabytes of storing space counting the extern harddisks.

Its quite the decent PC, It was quite expensive so i hope it will last a while.

I have no place in this forum but I have to say I'm really jealous.
Those are really nice computers and they all look sweet! I don't have that kind of money so I'm here with a DS a a future Rev. However you people have inspired me to try to mod those (even though i can't really see it happening maybe it will. I will start getting involved with making maps in Unreal Tournament 2004 soon and learn how to use it. I'm not THAT computer literate.

Well just wanted you guys to know you've inspired someone.

Hah well here's my computers specs...
-448MB RAM
-2.14 GHZ
-My graphics card doesn't even support pixel shading

currently a shuttle xpc, quite old
got a geforce FX5700 in it
2.8GHz
250GB busted up HDD
1GB ram

Once this semester's exams are over i'll be putting together a new pc:

Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe Crossfire PCI-E Motherboard
Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB)
Western Digital Raptor 150GB WD1500ADFD 10,000RPM SATA 16MB Cache
AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego
Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower CPU Cooler
FSP Sparkle FX700-GLN Epsilon 700W ATX2.0 PSU
CoolerMaster Praetorian 732 Aluminium Case (Silver ftw)
Asus ATI Radeon X1900XT-X 512MB GDDR3

and when i get some more money...
the crossfire edition 1900XT card to go along side this one
another 2GB ram
another WD (probably caviar model) HDD, around 300GB

at least this is the first draft of the specs for my new pc, any suggestions?

CPU. - AMD 64 FX-55
MB    - ASUS A8V
GFX  - Xfx GeForce  6800GT 256gddr3
RAM - 1GB corsair + 512MB Kingston
HDD - 80GB (don't know the brand...)

I will probably upgrade when the new GFXs will arrive.
Thinking of a G80 Gfx, a GB of ram and a new HDD.
