first of all, i'm glad to see that I wasn't the only person the planet to tear up during Kingdom Hearts. One of my favorite game series (can't wait for them to announce KH3, if they ever get around to it)

But I think the most emotional moment i've ever had in gaming was the first time I beat Metal Gear Solid 4:Guns of the Patriots. I spent the two weeks prior to playing the game for the first time going through 1-3, and by the time I finished 4 I was so completely immersed, it emotionally overwhelmed me.

Metal Gear Solid 4:Guns of the Patriots

the storyline of that game and the series itself is beyond anything i've seen in a game before, twoards the end of the game I teared up because I had gotten emotionally invested with the characters.

It also has great gameplay, I've played through it 10 times and I haven't been bored once.

Other games I would mention would be: LittleBigPlanet, God of War, BioShock (also for the storytelling), Knights of the Old Republic, and Crysis

I think with the addition of Microsoft to the console wars, its sparked a new age for gaming. Without them we wouldn't have it. The competition has made the industry reach for new heights.
Things that Microsoft brought to the table: Competitive online gaming, DLC, etc...

A lot of people argue that since Microsoft has so much money to burn they "bought" there way to the top, in a way I can see what people are saying but at the same time Microsoft knew what they were doing with the Xbox 360. (besides the whole RROD debacle :D)

Either way if you're a PS3 or a 360 fanboy, or if you're like me and just love gaming in general, Microsoft is here to stay.

I sold my Xbox awhile ago and invested soley in my PlayStation but If a decent Xbox game comes out i'll go over to a friends and play it.
Overall its all about enjoying your videogames, for me the console that delivers what I want is the PlayStation.
