Controllers are now an accepted peripheral. Loud angry internet trolls may disagree but with all these OH SO AWFUL PORTS going on there's plenty of reason to grab some twiddle sticks.

I was sitting in front of my beautiful mega-PC last night, playing BF3 singleplayer with all graphic options cranked up, and using a controller to play it. They come in handy when I'm feeling lazy :)

Objectivity? She needs to get some objectivity? Objectivity means judging a game on its merits, NOT ON THE CONSOLE IT WAS MADE ON. I like how you also advise her to 'get your own opinion'... that's exactly what the review is... the writer's own opinion.

Seriously dude, that is the stupidest comment I've read on Gamespot so far and I've spent the last two hours on here, progressively becoming sadder and sadder about the future of the human race.

On my first DS save, I had 6 hours clocked and had only just gotten past that first boss. My second save was 25 hours and I still hadn't got the Lord-Vessel (which is about mid-game). My current save is 98 hours and I'm up to NG++++... if I don't spend as much time in PVP or farming, I can finish the game in around 10 hours.

If you get to a point where you just can't progress, start again. Each time you restart you're a little bit better, a little bit more aware and the game just keeps getting easier.

I was so freakin' delighted with the new DLC, managed to beat that first boss on my third go... I spent the first two lives just watching his attack patterns and took it from there. I felt like a King (any time I beat a boss solo I feel like a King).

@Dasha8su oh the cry of the handicapped gamer. You're equating complexity with quality as though having an endless list of options somehow makes something better. If it weren't for guides on the net, most people wouldn't have a clue what to do with DS's crafting system.

Choosing the right weapon and the right upgrade path makes a massive difference to combat. When you factor in the farming required for the right shards and slabs can be hellaciously difficult in itself.

Besides, the beauty of DS isn't in its crafting, it's in discovering Lordran's story and environment and overcoming its challenges.

@hectorboy It's no-one elses fault that you've handicapped yourself by sticking to just one platform. I don't really see how it's not intuitive though? You control a camera and your players actions... does that not exist in other 'pure' PC titles?

What are the tons of problems you're referring to? Have you yourself had tons of problems or is it just the inevitable whinge threads that other people have created? GFWL has always worked perfectly for me, the only problem I thought I had with it (deleting saves in Dirt 2 and Dirt 3) proved to be an issue with that developers game engine.
