The concept is interesting... magic, guns, terrorists(?), the differences between a rich and a poor city, monsters.
I want to know the relationship of all that elements.
The name of the game should be this, if the name of the demo was Final Fantasy XIV. People would complain before watching it. Square enix needs a new IP to have more freedom making games.
The death of the survival horror is a shame. Dead Space is an example, the first one was barely a survival horror(and the sales were very good),the second one is just action and the third one with... co-op? I hate this kind of things.

I think that companies nowadays just want to get the atention of the COD players. I dont hate COD, what i am saying is that "gamers are different", not everyone enjoys playing COD.

The thought of "i have seen something similar in X" is very old. The source of every form of entertainment depends of innovation, and that is mix elements that actually exist and give them another shape. Invention is the creation of something completely new. What this article demands is invention, not innovation... and in the entertainment industry watch something completely new is impossible, specially in movies and videogames. Just my opinion.
I don't care about that sh*t of console gamers vs Pc gamers. I love games, in my PS3 I played RDR, Dark Souls, Catherine, exclusives games. And I want to play Guild Wars 2 and arma III.
I want to play Kevin´s list.But I need a new PC to play Skyrim and The Witcher 2. I love the description of Dark Souls, an amazing experience. It isn´t just another good game for me.
Wilson is wrong in many ways. 1ºHe is talking like the dead of US soldiers are the only important deaths in a war. 2º The problem about military shooters isnt the colour of the flags in war. The real matter is that this games ignore the causes that starts a war. In this games war is "the good guys vs the bad guys" ,and in the reality war is a conflict for a specific motive, not a battle of good vs bad, like an RPG game.
Graphic Whores... are taking the industry. I am really sad, the innovation for this people is just full HD and 60 FPS and a "service" that steals your money every year for a couple of maps. Innovation is mix elements in a different way, invention is the creation of something totally new. So, the innovation depends only on the creativity. Thing that is missing nowadays with generic FPS and the death of genres that require creativity like the survival horror.
