[QUOTE="Synthia"]

You did really well nini! It was a lot of fun, I think I'm going to try and run another one before the end of the year. Sometime in December I think.

Thanks Synthia. You too. It was alot of fun and I'll definitely be looking forward to the next one

Oh please have another one! I've participated in both previous MK game nights but I missed last night.

I'm excited and I really hope it lives up to my expectations. [QUOTE="funsohng"]oh god, is that a week after AC Revelation..... and also during the time when most of my papers are due. I honestly don't understand why people release games on November.... isn't Holiday season December?

They release in November because a lot of people do their shopping early.

How will this work since it is only 12 people per race?meetroid8
How does this works?Rod90
Everyone meets in the chat area where FCs are exchanged. After that someone starts a private race and invites those who are participating, usually there are more than one group racing at the same time. I've done both MK game nights and its lots of fun. Not sure if I can get my wii fixed in time to participate this time.

Holy crap thunderstorm.Haziqonfire

Wasn't that something? I was driving home from Wasaga and went through most of it. I couldn't see the road at times, even saw a house on fire from lightening. Got home to Kitchener just as the worst hit here.

I found someone on NeoGaf. Guess who lol.

You don't necessarily need the classic controller to play MKWii even if you would prefer not to take advantage of the motion controls/wheel. You can try a gamecube controller or play with the remote and nunchuck. As for online, I've never had problems with MK. Maybe someone else can let you know about Monster Hunter.

I've only really read the first three Harry Potter books and since stopped reading them. So, I just finished the first Harry Potter book today and I'm working my way up. I'm off until September so I figure I might as well read books and once I'm done the Harry Potter series, find something else I'd like to read.Haziqonfire
The HP books are much better than the movies, better in the sense that you get a lot more of the background story. That is especially true of the Half Blood Prince. I'm going this afternoon to see DH2 and I've just re-read the book again to prepare myself.

[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]Is anyone reading something they think I might like? Something sci-fi or fantasy seems to be my kind of thing.JordanElek

You have to read The Dark Tower series. It's Stephen King's take on fantasy and it's amazing.

I've heard this is a good series but haven't read it yet. I think It's being made into a movie.

[QUOTE="roboccs"]I was actually able to kick my coffee habit. I used to drink a few travel mugs every morning. Now I drink caffinated coffee only once a week or less. When I quit I had headaches for a few days. Then, once that wore off, I realized that I spent a lot of time completely buzzed when I had all that coffee and I didn't like that. I like the feeling now of not always being buzzed up and I don't crash anymore in the late afternoon/early evening. Plus, if I really need to focus on something for work, I will drink one cup and be completely focused! Also, Cocoa Pebbles rule, but I usually eat Cheerios, Corn Flakes, or Crispix. Boring but I do love how they taste. And soggyness is the best if you ask me! I'm also a huge bagel fan, and lately I've been into oatmeal.

What made you decide to give up coffee? Also, the best instant oatmeal is peaches & cream but it's still not as good as a nice homemade oatmeal with a little cream and brown sugar (like my grandma used to make.)
