I broke my ankle and I've been playing wii since my friend let me borrow his while I recover. So I rented NMH, Mario, and Metroid Prime. Out of the 3 I have to say that MP is the best. But NMH is so ridiculously repetitive...I just do not understand how it is getting such rave reviews. I had no inkling about this game before I rented it other than it was supposed to be a killer app for the Wii and now that I've played it I can safely say it's all flash and little to no substance whatsoever.

Is the Wii doomed to have only mediocre titles such as this? I mean this is supposed to be the MUST HAVE "M" game for the Wii yet it falls so short on every level, EXCEPT STYLE, that I can't see anything in the future saving this system from crap such as this. Discuss.

And by that I mean an overhyped game that will not be as engrossing as the developers would have you believe. I mean Oblivion was nice, but in the end it was just a watered down wanna be MMORPG with reused textures (Planes of Oblivion, caves, Ayleid ruins anyone)? and repetitive, BORING combat. Maybe I am missing all the excitement with BS, but haven't we already seen gamesthat promisethe whole "use your environment as your weapon" hook? What makes BS stand out more than oh I dunno Half Life per say? And from the movies and screens I have seen (and yes I understand the game is not out yet) there appears to be a total lack of enemy variety. The enemies, except Big Daddy, look like they react to you like those in Condemned: Criminal Origins.

Bioshock looks VERY pretty don't get me wrong but so did TESIV but in the end the game was a piece of crap IMO.......guess we just have to wait out this next two weeks to find out if BioShock will follow suit.

BioShock will get no more than an 8.0
