I'm just surprised you called it a cover based shooter to be honest. I always thought games like Gears of War, and Rainbow Six Vegas were cover based shooters since you really have to rely on it to stay alive, and it's a large part of the game mechanics. I've only played through the Autobots campaign, but it feels like a straight up third person shooter/action game.

Not bashing your review just that part I really don't agree with. Glad you liked Escalation mode at least. That's my favorite part of the game by far since it's so similar to Nazi Zombies. :)

I loved both, but I liked Dead Space more. Loved every second of that game, and it just got better as it went along.

On PS2 I think it was Killzone. On PS3 it was Warhawk.

You'll love the first expansion in the game, Extraction Point. I thought it was even better than the original FEAR. Perseus Mandate is just really dull, and I had to force myself to beat it. The instant action maps are quite fun though, but the multiplayer is dead unfortunately.

I hate it, and I just end up losing interest by the time it comes out. I'm not even hyped for Home, or Killzone 2 even.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, or Heavenly Sword. Both are superb titles.

Target's offering a creditable selection of Xbox 360 games at good prices this year. Probably the best value is Dead Space at $30 -- you can't go wrong with this dark, sci-fi survival horror hit. If that doesn't float your boat, there's a good range of superb titles at $49 and under, a nice discount. Our favorites: Call of Duty: World at War, and Halo 3 is going for $30. Both deserve places in any gamers' collection, and you'll find more goodies in store.

Thanks! :)

I'm curious about the bolded part though. Is COD WaW going for $30 or $49? Or is it just Halo 3 that's going for $30?

Buy it at Best Buy! :) I bought it there about a week ago. It's the Lost Chapters edition which comes with more content than the one on Xbox Live, and is only $10 brand new :)
