Well to finally get on topic. Have to tried to force some better settings in the Nvidia Control Panel (accessible through the Windows Control Panel)? You can force higher AA and AS there, among other things. Often it doesn't seem to help a lot, but every now and then it can make a game look much better.

pfft, id take this game over that any day.Lilgunney612
Yeah I think that game alone completely turned me off to the genre in itself. Good reviews or no, the classic TechTV X-Play did probably the best review ever on this game, and to this day when I think of an 18-wheeler game, I think of driving into another dimension or sinking into a bridge.

Why in God's name are you playing such a game?

Go play something....worthwhile. Please?

PS2_ROCKS

Whats wrong with the game?

Nothing really, my choice of words probably wasn't the best, but basically, an 18-wheeler simulation sounds about as interesting as counting blades of grass.

Yeah with the newest Forceware drivers and another gig of RAM, I can see no reason that The Witcher and Bioshock shouldn't run on Medium, possibly high in some areas.

What type of internet connection do you have? DSL, Dial-up, or Satellite?

Yeah it should still run. What is your processor model exactly?

It might be sluggish at times, but with it being very close, you shouldn't have troubles.

No, installing XP is advertised as a capability of any modern Mac, and won't void your warranty. And hardware upgrades are extremely limited but RAM and hard drives DO NOT void your warranty. Oh and don't install XP on an external hard drive, it will make Bootcamp shaky when the drive isn't plugged in. Just give your XP section about 40-50 gigs (depending on how many games you want to install, the OS will take less than 4gb, so plan accordingly), but you want to use your main HDD, because that's how Bootcamp is designed to be used.

The third one would be what I'd look for, if you're shooting that low on price, go for a good amount of Vram, like 512mb.

The others have a higher clock speed, which would help with the loading of textures and whatnot, but without a place to put it (high Vram), it might not make a difference. Again, the third one is pretty nice, and if I had to go that low on price (although you might not find a price as low as Newegg in a shop), that's what I'd get.
