While I can believe not everyone has bad intentions with kickstarter, and I even liked that Christ Roberts' project got the funding it needed. I just feel it's an easy way to take advantage. For instance, like Suikogaiden pointed out, lets say I throw some concept art up. ask for funding. then after cashing the funding I dont do anything anymore and just cash in the funds? There's a lot of questions regarding kickstarter. While I do understand the reasoning I think it should be looked at more closely.

the only downside I see with kickstarter is that all these projects are funded by regular people while the company walks away with the proceeds. Or maybe I'm not seeing it correctly. I could be wrong. I just see it as an easy way to take advantage of people.

I can see how the new gen of consoles need an always online connection to function. Otherwise these new social networking consoles with some gaming features can't function properly.

Maybe it'll turn out as good as their 4gb patch, that only seemed to make the screen foggier.
