The PS3 will never be the definitive answer for exclusives. Games are just too expensive to develop for the PS3 platform, so if developers really want to acquire a profit -- and I bet you they do -- many of their games will go multi-platform.
Well, I don't use my computer for Crysis. I also use it for homework, internet browsing (console browsers are a joke), 3D programming (Maya, ftw), and a bunch of other stuff. Consoles simply cannot replace computers in terms of functionality and versatility.
And what did the PS3/Xbox 360 do? All PS3 did was upgrade CPU/Video and a broken motion-sensor on their controller. And all Xbox360 was upgrade CPU/Video. At least Nintendo attempted to innovate the control of games.
