@KingTrax999 it gets worse, in canada you can possibly get arrested for useing a tor relay that someone else other than you without your knowledge used to distribute it once, for the same charges!
Luckily, or unluckily for us who want to see the people who actually deserve it to be punished, I dont really think that many people around the area even get charged for it.
@Kandykane30188 the thing is, he may be innocent but is just subjected to the insane laws on the subject manner in Canada... I mean, apparently someone got arrested for this in Canada for using a Tor relay that SOMEONE ELSE used, only once, to distribute that disgusting stuff.
The problem is he's in canada. And their laws on the subject are a little on the insane side.
For instance, while extremely unlikely, it is possible in canada to get arrested with those charges for using a Tor Relay that someone other than you might have used once to distribute that stuff.
Scary, but the possibility is remote for better or worse. I barely hear of any kind of arrests for this sort of thing around here (I live close to where Silicon knights is, if the team is still here I assuming close to them as well. Great for bullshit reasons like the Tor thing, but not so great in regards to finding people that deserve to be punished for this. Probably the only reason he got caught is because he's a game developer, thus would have a overly large amount of data traffic to and from his home, which would draw attention.
