"the used game market is ultimately good because it shows there is healthy demand for games in the industry", what a stupid thing to say. It's like to say, shoplifting is good because shows there is demand for products.
"there's no shortage of people willing to buy more of the same thing that worked before". It's not the SAME game. It's close, but not the same. People still want to have that similar, but GOOD experience. Absolutely nothing wrong with that decision.
As long the price for a downloadable game is the same as for the retail one, there is only one reason to buy it: have more than one game in one card. But, it's not physical collectible and it's not resalable.
The problem it's not the price of the memory, it's the price of the downloadable game which should be CHEAPER than the retail one, since we cannot resell it.
The PSV memory price is irrelevant. You buy it only ONCE. You need to look the price of the whole system. $280 for a excellent handheld with 8GB is not expensive AT ALL.
