Just sit there and read that, over and over for 40 min. There is no offline multiplayer with bots I can try, so I'm stuck. I have an excellent connection so what am I doing wrong? They wouldn't release a broken demo would they?!? For me at least, I now have big doubts about the quality of this game.
I had the same problem. It's still running on your TV, you just can't see the image, and you can't change the settings to show the screen unless you can see and navigate the PS3 menu. The only way I can see to get around it is to change the settings back to 'normal' while still connected to your friends TV through the HDMI cable.
