I really don't know who I should be rooting for here. This is like quintessential Alien Versus Predator going on.

Whoever Wins-We lose. God this industry is just such a fucking mess. Hostile takeovers, corrupt journalists, greedy money grubbing companies in bed with said corrupt journalists, SJWs up the yin-yang, the list goes on and on and on. I'm starting to think Pixy from Ace Combat Zero was right.

"This twisted game needs to be reset"

What's this? An actual review that discusses everything about the game, including the technical issues?

@xsonicchaos: This is yet another problem with gaming journalism. They keep sending so many goddamn mixed signals with their game coverage it's impossible to tell what's the truth and what's the lie.

"has made it a point to never miss an AC game"

....reviewers should always try to be as objective as possible instead of being fangirls. Color me skeptical about this review's high praises and score. I am going to wait for more reviews to come out before buying this game. Something about this review just SCREAMS paid ad revenue.

@gamedelay: This is horseshite basically. If you're let go from a company they basically have you by the balls in terms of forcing you to accept all sorts of crap agreements that screw you over. The only thing you can do at that point is either sue them or take the money and run. Don't pretend there is choice when there is no choice at all.

@Fandango_Letho: That didn't trip me up. The part that made me a bit triggered is that she thinks being a paranormal investigator "that one time" makes her familiar with the Fatal Frame series.

Rhianna Pratchett is a hack who has no idea what makes Lara Croft, Lara CROFT. She has all but butchered the Tomb Raider series to be honest. Also, I love how she says "you have to use mechanics to support video game narratives."

OH, so that's why there was a jarring disconnect between in-game Lara and cutscene Lara in the previous game? Where the former was Rambo and the latter was almost a rape victim who constantly had to tell herself "You can do this!"? Yeah, way to use those game mechanics in tandem with the narrative there Pratchett.

@b_rich84: That's a lot of devil's advocating you got there. Oh well. It's 12:20 at night and I Am not up for an internet argument. All I know is, I would never like to meet Daniel Craig in person. Guy sounds like a total jerk IRL. It feels as though if I tried to get him to sign an autograph of a picture of him in one of his films he'd just hock a loogie on it and then tell me to sod off.
