I didn't have a very happy childhood. But FFVII-for me-was a very pleasant respite from a long winter. I can't remember the last time I read a GameSpot news article and actually had a smile on my face. I consider myself a huge purist but I honestly wouldn't have cared either way if it had been turn based or more actiony like it is now. I am just glad to see one of the greatest games of all time make a return in a new and graphically updated form. We'll just have to wait and see if it can back it up in terms of every thing else.
