I think it's funny that this franchise still exists. It's been mediocre ever since the first game, and yet they keep pushing them out. There hasn't been a good Pokemon spin off since Stadium 2.

Gamespot really seems insistent on dooming the 3DS. Not a single game has scored above an 8.5, and most games get much worse. Because of this site, I was loath to buy a 3DS at all. When I finally did, I realized how much I was missing. A 6.5 though? Yeah, it MAY be a bit of an annoyance to have to replay a sequence a few times, but that seems to be your only real beef with the game, and I don't understand knocking off three and a half points because of it.

@ricflairwoo Excellent point. When you compare games that get the same score, the reviews suddenly seem incredibly arbitrary.

Oh yeah, almost forgot Smash Bros, AND Pokemon in October. Hopefully this will quell what all the XBox fanboys have been saying about Nintendo's demise.

Whaaaat.... I've turned my back to Nintendo this entire generation of consoles, but Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem alone is enough to change my mind. Not to mention new Zelda, Animal, Crossing, Mario, Mario Kart, AND new Monolith Soft? Looks like I can't keep my money any longer. Nintendo, I'm so sorry for doubting you.

I heard this game was good, but I didn't feel up to playing an atmospheric horror game on the tiny 3ds, so I might just pick this up-after the price drops, of course.
