Wait... did the PC ever get Red Dead Redemption? Because that's one of - in my opinion - the greatest games of all time, and everyone deserves to play it.

Kitchen Simulator 2014 lol

For real though, it's good to see Rockstar are not going to force a female lead character into a game where it doesn't fit, just for the sake of having one.

@Ulvenkai @WereCatf @joke_man Actually, no, because you don't know how Fair Use works. You can't just throw something up on the Internet and call it "Fair Use" -- it's a DEFENSE that you use in court.

@Flamewolf75 Halo 4 already differentiated itself from Halo quite well enough. It would be nice to see Bungie come back with a nod to their previous game series -- especially given the threads between Marathon and Halo.

@duran_gabriel No, people are the problem. As I posted below: I have never seen a firearm jump up of its own volition and shoot someone on its own. There's always someone behind the trigger, and rather than dealing with the ACTUAL issue - how mental health issues are treated, or rather ignored, in the United States - we're quick to use firearms as a scapegoat to the larger, and more uncomfortable to talk about, problem.

@chavo845 Exactly: a MANIAC killed those children. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. I have NEVER seen a firearm jump up of its own will, load a bullet into its chamber, and shoot someone on its own.

@Burin077 "When you are tailoring a game for a specific audience, and the ESRB believes your game falls into a more mature category, take that into consideration before you release the game. Go over your game and think to yourself "What markets may this game stretch out into?" If it ends up going too far into a market you want to keep it away from, or could potentially get you into some serious trouble from, consider adjusting the game accordingly so that taboo market doesn't get access to it."

This is absolutely, without a doubt, the single dumbest thing I have ever read. The point of the ESRB and PEGI rating systems is to notify parents of the content of the game. Parents should be responsible for knowing what games their kids play, what films they watch, what books they read, what they're texting/IM'ing, etc. We CANNOT punish the gaming industry because of parents' apathy toward what their children are doing.

If YOU don't want your kids playing M-rated games, then YOU make sure they don't: game developers telling a story - think Red Dead Redemption or Max Payne 3, for example - SHOULD NOT be forced to self-censor and sanitize their games SIMPLY because there's a chance kids could play it. That's like telling Shakespeare to cut out the murders in Macbeth and Hamlet, or the suicides in Romeo & Juliet, because it might influence kids.

"I know that sounds hard to do, but there's some rather easy ways to weed out children from more mature titles, just do your research and you can easily find out."

If there are some ways that are so easy, then why are you unable to provide even A SINGLE example!

As long as I can build / buy / occupy a castle, equip it with cannons, and create a special strike force of matchlock-equipped snipers, then I'm happy :D

"Colonial Assassin outfit"? I bought the Target version, which was supposed to have this in it. Which, by the way, has not shown up in my game. I guess Ubisoft really meant to say, "You get this bundled with your game, BUT you still have to buy it at a later date to use it."

Ubisoft may have cut the DRM from their PC games, but these bullshit business practices - DLC that *should* have been in the game (and is probably already on the disk, but locked), DLC season passes, and the UPlay passport required for progressing past level 10 in multiplayer - are equally as stupid.

I was going to buy Far Cry 3 and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, but I don't think I'll bother giving any more of my money to UbiRipoff.
