I have no pity for murderers. I do think they should have killed him though. Think of all the tax payers money that went to keeping him alive.

YES! Hand washing is the number one way to prevent the spread of sickness and disease. Any one who does not wash their hands is disgusting

I like to have unlimited texting on my phone, and I like to access internet when a computer is not available. I wish I could pay for less minutes. I used 14 mins out of like 500 minutes last month :(

I was in Italy and really needed a restroom. My teacher and her husband found one with me, we had to pay one euro to get in and found out it was a co-ed bathroom. There were little stalls and I saw one with a door ajar, and I ended up walking in on some Italian guy with his pants down :(

[QUOTE="chandlerr_360"]

Ok, so recently I have been waiting to hear back from a distribution warehouse that I applied to for a job that my buddy works at, and today he told me that the position I was applying for was taken...and they gave it to a 18 year old girl (I'm 19). Now I am no sexist or anything, but the reason why this absolutely baffles me is that the entire job revolves around lifting, moving, and loading hevy crates/boxes into trucks...100+ lbs...7 hours a day. I am in pretty good shape and I applied to the job specifically because it was the type of manual labor job where you clock in, work, and clock out just like I was wanting.

Empirically I would be able to do the job better than this chick, any average young male would be able to, yet because of the bull**** political tape and regulations they probably hired this girl because of I am out of the job, a perfectly capable young male perfectly suited for the requirments of the job. So now I am forced to go back looking for some crappy dead end retail job or looking back into the military, because I simply refuse to have my parents spend money for a university degree and I refuse to be buried in debt for the rest of my young adult life.

Personal issues aside, does anyone else see instances like this as a serious problem? I mean there are always reports/statistics claiming that young males are more involved in crime and drugs, scoring lowers on tests, and being unemployed, but it seems as if the clearly obvious reasons whyare simply being overlooked. When more than capable young males out of Highschool are forced to compete with less competent young women or older men past their prime and losing out and being held back, how can they be expected NOT to get angry and discouraged?

Sorry if I am coming off as sexist, however I find the lack of opportunities for young guys like me to be a serious issue plagueing the U.S. (and me lol).

MrGeezer

Firstly, you didn't lose your job to a girl. You never had the job in the first place. For all I know, you STILL wouldn't have gotten the job, even if you were the only applicant. You're already indicating a sense of entitlement, before you ever got the job, and I've seen how it often works when a new hire just expects **** just because. For all I know, you got rejected because of your attitude or your demeanor or your credentials or because of your references.

Secondly, I forgot what my second point was going to be.

I agree. From his post I would think she had a way better attitude and had way more maturity.
