Can we have one that's based on that South Park episode where Hilary Clinton has a bomb in her snatch? "Snuke" I think it was called? You have to surgically remove the bomb from her AND disarm it to win. That'd be intense as ****.
Damn, I was really hoping for a Spiritual Successor to P.T./Silent Hills. That being said, I'm still eager to see his next project whatever it may be. This is Kojima's first real break from Metal Gear, and I know he's been itching to try something new. Can't wait to see it!
Best news I've heard in a while; I love Assassin's Creed but the latest games have convinced me that the series has grown stagnant. Unity was a massive waste of potential on top of being glitchy and hastily cobbled together. Syndicate was certainly an improvement over Unity, but that's not saying much and it still felt very "by-the-numbers". I haven't given up on the series yet, but I also think that the next Assassin's Creed has to finally go back to the drawing board. They need to overhaul the combat system to make it actually challenging and not a brainless exercise of "Press X To Counter". The stealth mechanics need to be reworked by making the AI smarter and able to intelligently search the environment for you. Since there won't be grappling hooks in Ancient Egypt they should work on improving the parkour controls as well. Most importantly, they should take a few cues from MGSV and give us (within reason) total freedom of approach to each mission. AC is badly in need of a brand new start, and I hope Ubisoft makes the most of the extra development time.
Silent Hills all the way; Kojima was really on to something special with the P.T. Demo. He and Del Toro can just take all the ideas they had for the original game, rebuild it using UE4 and deliver a giant **** You to Konami by just calling it something else; Quiet Mountains, Hushed Mesas, Uncommunicative Plateaus, I really don't care. I'm desperate for this to happen because as far as I'm concerned, the cancellation of Silent Hills means that the series is actually dead; Konami clearly have no future plans for Silent Hill to be anything more than a theme for a Pacinko Machine. But if Kojima and Del Toro actually go through with their original ideas, they have the potential to make mainstream survival horror games relevant again, which is something we need in this day and age.
Great games to take influence from; I've loved all the games that Levine and his people have come out with, so I'm looking forward to whatever he's cooking up next.
I'd have to agree; video games aren't given nearly enough credit for the artistic possibilities they bring to the table. Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, and Silent Hill 2 are proof to that effect.
