[QUOTE="KentTalbert"]a helluva lot better than playing WoW for 6000 hours. It's a damn fun time, and anyone who challenges this just doesn't know how to have fun in a virtual world. Honestly, you people probably rejected it from the first minute you played it. The guilds and side quests are frikkin' shweet!sSubZerOo
I am not trying to defend WoW or anything, but at least it had meaningful rpg elements to the game.. There is none in Oblivion, infact a 8 year old is fully capable of beating the game due to how simplistic it is.
Oblivion is simple in it's complexity. thats probably why you failed to notice how thorough, deep and complex it was.
the only game ive ever actually felt scared playing was Eternal Darkness on gamecube. The only scary game ever made for my money, And i've played pretty much allthe popular supposedly scary ones.
I've done everything i could have ever wanted to do with this game. My savegame reads 435 hours. Like someone said, it needs another expansion. But even then....i think i'm just really ready for Elder scrolls V. I'll have to be patient.
The movies just aren't very good. And Arnie is in part the problem. Physicallook to play Conan? Sure. Charisma andpresence? No way. Anyone who read the books (or even just the comics)can see Arnie did't get the essence of the character at all (the scripts are partly to be blamed too though).Apart from havingan amazing soundtrack, these films pale in comparison to the books and i wish a new Conan movie would be made to try anddo the books justice. The first one is better but in a way, the second one is closer to the spirit of the books. Non stop adventure, a good bunch of fights. In any case, Conan is one of the best fiction character ever created.
