@SUNDRAGONJ There aren't any huge, glaring issues, just a ton of little things that really start to add up. No AI reloading/infinite AI ammo, enemies not registering in Listen Mode despite me clearly seeing them because the game wants me to interact with them in a very specific way, really inorganic "boss battles" and forced combat sequences that kill the pacing and are just goddamn frustrating, incredibly poor sound design when it comes to stealth, weak human AI that can't tell the person next to them just got strangled and don't always care when they see a beer bottle whiz past their head. Despite being a survival-based game, enemies only drop ammo when you shoot them as opposed to stealth takedowns, and you can only carry an absurdly low amount of bullets. Your characters retain the same amount of health, parts, items and ammo between game segments (how did Joel and Ellie make it all the way from Pittsburgh to Wyoming without using any of their supplies?) On top of that, I didn't care all that much for the story or characters, but that's more personal than anything else. Really, my biggest problems are that the game, while grounded in "authenticity", feels far too "gamey" in most places, and it's more concerned with forcing you into a linear path towards big moments it wants to show you rather than just throwing you in a situation and letting you make your own. Like I said, it's definitely an 8, and it's a very good game overall, but in no way does it deserve a 10 in my eyes.
