Lol kinda funny that an FX official, which is under FOX, who is the majority owner of Hulu (till they're purchased fully by Disney), blasts their competitor Netflix... and Gamespot acts like this is shocking news.

@foghorn79: That's not true. They will continue to produce it on Hulu. Disney made the bold move stating Disney+, their streaming service, will be family friendly content only... however with all the acquisitions Disney has made the last few years, they own a LOT of popular characters and stories that just aren't family friendly, they will want to keep those successful properties going, and since Disney will soon own 60% of Hulu, they will almost certainly start using Hulu as their more mature streaming service. This allows them to keep Disney+ family friendly while also not losing revenue from their more adult properties.

@WingChopMasta: Flaw in your logic is... Titan's as a whole isn't very well liked. If Titans is your example, Netflix won't be impressed. On top of that I feel I must remind people that Netflix in 2017 bought Millarworld, the comic publisher behind Kingsman, Hit-Girl, Kick-Ass, and Wanted. And they have series planned already for American Jesus and Jupiter's Legacy as well as movies planned for Huck, Empress, Reborn, Prodigy, and Sharkey the Bounty Hunter. Netflix is trying to build up their own characters rather than having to pay royalties to a different company to use their characters.

Not only that, DC has their own streaming series, they wouldn't want their new content to come out on Netflix, a rival service.

@bat725: Almost none of what you said is remotely true. Netflix cancelled the series, they're now free for any network to pick up willing to pay Marvel for the character rights, you should probably do research on what a network cancelling a series is compared to a network letting a show end... cancellation means the network has 0 rights over the property anymore unless the characters were original creations of the network... since these are Marvel characters, Netflix doesn't own any of them, meaning since Netflix cancelled all their series, they've lost all rights to those characters.

Hulu, which will soon be 60% owned by Disney, is almost guaranteed to pick up all the Marvel Netflix series. All the series, despite a few loud whining children about Iron Fist and Luke Cage, did very well... and the main reason they were cancelled is because, as Netflix has reported multiple times, those shows are very expensive to make since they have to pay massive royalties to Marvel/Disney for the use of their characters... guess what? A Disney own service, ie Hulu, doesn't have to pay that royalty... meaning Hulu can pick up these successful series, and produce them at a considerably cheaper price than Netflix could. Something that everyone involved is hoping gets done.

Also just so you know, Disney already announced and confirmed that Disney+ will be Family friendly content ONLY... they will almost guaranteed be using Hulu for their non-family oriented movies and series. So the future of most of the non-cartoon Marvel series, will be on Hulu, not Disney+.

@warmblur: Sorry to say it but luckily you're in the minority when it comes to that opinion. While season 2 of Jessica Jones wasn't as good as the groundbreaking season 1 was, it was still a well liked. As for Punisher, season 2 is widely considered to be superior to season 1 by the masses, not sure why you didn't like it but most did... and now that Netflix has cancelled all of the Marvel series, Disney is going to be free to pick up all the shows and put them on, the soon to be Disney owned, Hulu.

@Barzenak42: Don't be too sad just yet, Punisher and Daredevil, along with Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and The Defenders, are all very likely to make their debut on the soon to be Disney owned Hulu. The facts are all of the Marvel Netflix shows did very well (even though people criticized Iron Fist and Luke Cage, as a whole they did very well in ratings and viewership counts) they however were very expensive to make since they had to pay large royalties to Disney for use of their characters... it will actually be considerably cheaper for Hulu to make episodes of those shows since they won't have to pay royalties to themselves as they already own the characters. Because of this it's unlikely Hulu wouldn't pick up all these amazing shows.

@reklawm: Disney+ has been confirmed to be "family friendly" meaning the more grim Defenders style characters and stories won't be on it. However Disney owns 20% of Hulu, and FOX owns 40% of Hulu, so once FOX is bought by Disney, 60% will be owned by Disney... so it's been theorized that Hulu will be the location where Disney puts it's less family friendly series... and it appears like all the Netflix series will be migrated to Hulu, or at least that appears to be the hopes of everyone involved.

@pjosephson: Xbox Live was hacked multiple times as well, in fact the first time the PSN got taken down, was due to the fact that Sony fanboys were mocking Xbox fanboys because Xbox Live had just been taken down by hackers.

Problem is, as long as Sony continues to beat Microsoft and Nintendo... Sony has no motivation. If they remain without cross play, they get to maintain console exclusives. To date Microsoft has lost every console war with Sony

PS2 - 157,680,000 sold
vs
XBox - 24,650,000 sold

PS3 - 86,880,000 sold
vs
Xbox 360 - 85,800,000 sold

PS4 - 59,510,000 sold
vs
Xbox One - 29,980,000 sold

And while Nintendo sold well with the Wii (101,180,000 units sold) they did not do well with the Wii-U (13,930,000 units sold). As long as Sony reigns supreme on top, they have no reason to add in a feature that would encourage people to buy games on other systems. Should Microsoft and Nintendo join forces and created a bigger array of cross play games, and it results in the PS5 losing to the Xbox One X and the Switch... then Sony might do it... if the PS5 continues the trend and comes out on top, they will continue to have no reason to add in the feature.
