Fine but if I have to reschedule PTO one more time, Imma be pissed! What makes this worse for me is that I finally managed to scoop up a collector's edition which was enough to send me into hype mode.

I have it pre-ordered but I'm really leaning towards waiting for a price drop. I already know that Ubisoft can make a good open world game; I was hoping they would bring the story up to or near that same caliber but that doesn't seem to be the case for the most part.

Let me know when the console game has some concrete details. And way to waste an interesting concept on a mobile game, WB. *cough* Money Whore *cough cough*

Last I checked, buying Evil Within and the season pass separately was cheaper than the deluxe edition.

People game for different reasons but shouldn't go into every game expecting it to cater to those reasons. I generally play games for immersion and story with difficulty being part of the immersion. Games like Cuphead are difficult for a reason and while its unfortunate that not everyone can enjoy it, the reason still stands. Not everyone can play football either but I don't imagine that that would be the reason to change the rules or make it somehow "easier." The future Souls game shouldn't have a difficulty slider because they were made to be played with a certain mindset. Adding a difficulty slider to games just because some people can't/won't put in the time to master the game is probably part of the reason why we're getting some of these bland cookie cutter open world games instead of finely tuned experiences.

I'll definitely pick this up when its cheaper. The Nemesis system from the first game didn't impress me all that much and it doesn't look like that will change with this one.

Andromeda got too much short sighted reactionary criticism. As time passed, articulate and dispassionate thoughts on why Andromeda was so mediocre (combat aside) began appearing but those criticisms didn't get as much attention as the upteenth video or hyperbolic talking about a certain S word or memes like "my face is tired".

@DIOSNY:

At this point, we already know that games can be fun, just like we already know that they can have stellar graphics. "Game AAA has incredible graphics?" It's 2017, that's a given. Game is fun to play? How is that different from any other game on the market?

Are games supposed to just stop at those two things? Until 3D and VR greatly improve and become cheaper, the one area where games can still move forward right now is in the storytelling department.
