I'm not even going to bother to read the fanboy comments below. I bought a ps3 because I like the exclusive games on that console, and all (most) of the games I want to play are available for PC, which is my main gaming system anyways. PS3 has bluray, built in wifi, no battery controllers, free online, pretty much all I want for 'casual' use plus movie watching. I don't want to pay for $200 in accessories and an online subscription that I would barely use since I play games on PC mostly.

I'm glad AMD can finally outperform 2 year old intel processors, they finally have some competition. I have always used intel, even during their 'dark' days prior to Core 2, and I was always satisfied with them, as people say about their amd's. Despite the fanboy-ism, AMD is doing its own thing. Their their technology is not superior to Intel. AMD realizes this and has a different target audience and pricing strategy. Intel's strategy is a top of the line, best bang for big buck strategy. That works well for people who have the cash to get the best. AMD focuses on best bang for the buck, with lower prices and decent enough performance that is more than acceptable for the budget gamer or someone without a big pocket. They are doing well in that area, as you can see many people looking for sub-$300 processors lean towards AMD as they focus on low prices. So yes, of course AMD will have the cheapest and best deals for processors, but Intel is ahead of the game regarding power.
