In no particular order: 1. Xenogears - I know some people find this to be a little on the long winded side, but the convoluted story line, and enjoyable characters really hooked me. 2. Chrono Cross - I had never owned Chrono Trigger, but rented it constantly, and when I heard Chrono Cross was coming out, it was a definite must buy. Great story, great gameplay, and even amazing how you can really hear the accents of the various characters even though there is NO voiceover. 3. Katamari Damacy - Great game, great price, and great look on anyone's face when you try to explain it. Then even more so, the look when people do check it out, and they love it too. 4. Final Fantasy III - That's right, the last SD FF game. I remember renting this when I was about 11 or 12, and playing for 12 hours straight before having to return it. Then when buying it, pretty much the same. And the music . . . 5. Sim City (Commodore 64 Version) - That's right, they made it for C64. I don't own this any more, but gotta love it, it didn't even had pictures of buildings, it was just squares that slowly filled in . . . good ol 16 colour graphics.
