Yes you are not the only one. I wonder if it is because they made some of the spells channeling like Frost Nova. I don't remember it taking that long to cast on the PC. When the screen is too cluttered with enemies, expect a very short freeze. I would call it a lag spike, but I don't play multiplayer online as much. I bet they could patch that out if we actually get patch support.

Was it an old typing adventure game? It might be Hugo's House of Horrors.

No, do not play Far Cry 2 unless you enjoy random respawns, mindless walking, and poor weapon customizations. The only cool thing about Far Cry 2 for me was that the multiplayer wasn't bad.

Kingdoms of Amular is an excellent game. As much as I am a diehard Fallout fan, I think KoA was much better than New Vegas. Two Worlds 2 is fairly good for online co-op, but the imbalance issues and overall controls/camera angles make for a buggy adventure. Risen is unforgiving, but it is very similar to Skyrim to me.

If you are into co-op rpg with a shooter base, Borderlands 2 is a good amount of bang for your buck. I am a good fan of action-based rpg's, but I've found them to be quite dry as of late. That is why games like Dungeon Defenders, Borderlands (1 and 2), and Deus Ex do well. They take a genre and bend it. The last typical action RPG that did well (though not financially) was Kingdoms of Amular. As far as upcoming games, Try looking up Grim Dawn for your Diablo 3 fix. If you are impatient, just play Path of Exile beta. It is diablo with enriched skill trees, darker textures, but crappier graphics. I hope this helps.

While this is not a legitimate source, this website offers links to mostly credible sources. Personally, my wife and I are not allowing our daughter to play videogames or watch tv until age 5. I would like to see more research about Leapfrog. I am not convinced by critical thinking arguments before the age of 5.

Bump post. This kickstarter has a few days left. Please donate if you can. I donated 100 dollars so far. It is good to see a worthy game design unable to be tarnished by large publishing companies with their suffocating deadlines. Please consider this game for preorder if not for their special editions. I'd support 10 of these companies over EA's products(one or two games excluding, of course).

And I am very glad Grim Dawn was supported through Kickstarter.

I've been having strange loads on the new drivers as well. Whenever I load a youtube video or start a new game, the screen turns off for 3 seconds and then comes back on. It happened ever since the new drivers. I use the GTX 295 card though.

Kingdoms of Amular is my favorite game at the moment. The game has far exceeded my expectations for content.

The runner-up is Resistance 2. The Resistance 2 co-op is still my favorite game mode of any game and the MP was fun too. Those two games have been the best 60 bucks each I've spent so far.

PSN games though must go to Dungeon Defenders and Pixel Junk Monsters. It is hard to find a couch-co-op that the wife will play as well.

Agreed. KOA is actually good on the PS3. There are only a few rough camera angles, but those are easily fixable. The combat is better.
