I found a copy on eBay for $49. =P

Just hold out for the DS "remake", it'll be pretty much identical anyways.

Shaman King: Legacy of the Spirits is pretty abysmal.

What were you thinking, Konami?

Maybe Sonic the Hedgehog 2 or some random Mario game. I honestly can't remember.

Peach's impossible stupidity in Super Mario Sunshine made me roll my eyes countlessly.

To carry on the Navi tradition, Issun from Okami. Sure, he's humourous, but his awfully revealing advice made an already easy game even easier.

Final Fantasy VI =)

Final Fantasy VII, IX, Chrono Trigger, and Pokemon Gold are all good too.

I've pondered buying Metal Gear for the NES, since I don't own a PlayStation console. It's about time that I jump onto the Metal Gear bandwagon.

The second form of the Lavos Core in Chrono Trigger looks a little bit silly. I mean, it has duck wings and feet for god's sake. That's pretty badass.

In fact, it kicked my butt about six times over before I finally defeated it. I hate Grand Stone.

There was some development on 'Metroid 64', but there were no concrete plans created until the end of the N64 era. Then Retro Studios took over development for Metroid on the GameCube. Miyamoto didn't like their work, however, so he scrapped it and forced them to make Metroid into an FPS.

You simply must buy Tomba! 1 + 2.

Another overlooked game is Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. I haven't played it, but there are plenty of people who'll gush over this one for hours.

I've done this an unbelievable amount of times in the past... So, here we go! (by the way, some are numbered, some aren't. I still haven't got a concrete list)

1. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)

2. Final Fantasy VI (SNES)

3. Resident Evil 4 (GCN)

4. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)

Honorary mentions: - Metroid Prime (GCN), Super Metroid (SNES), The Legend of Zelda (NES), Final Fantasy IX (PSX), Final Fantasy VII (PSX), Soul Calibur (DC), Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (GCN), Okami (Wii), Chrono Trigger (SNES), Super Mario Galaxy (Wii), Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2), GoldenEye 007 (N64).

I think I'll stop here. =P
