I'm just confused as to why the number is lower. I guess the number doesn't mean much? Also, what should I do about overheating when gaming for a good amount of time?

I want to start by saying I don't know much about computer hardware, let alone graphics cards, but I was looking at some performance numbers on a few different cards and saw that the 3850 512MB out-performed the 4650 512MB and both out-performed the 4670 512MB. Why is this?
Also, if I was thinking of getting a laptop that had a 4650 512MB, would it be worth it to upgrade to the 3850?

What do you mean if I want 2010. Any computer will last until next year. And it has to be a laptop. Anyone else?

Don't listen to him. A $1000 laptop is enought for games. This one should do just fine.
That one looks pretty good actually. Not a bad price either. The only thing is, I looked at that thread on DX11 and it said something about having an ATI HD5000 series card. Is that anything to worry about?

I want to get a laptop for university, but also watching movies, listening to music, and of course gaming. So if I want to run newer games at decent (medium-high) settings, what types of things should I be looking for in a new laptop? And I want to spend up to about $1200, or $1300 if it's a really good deal.
how do you type my xbox and also is it free to call?Arley26
