I'm not a fan boy of any console but i do own a 360, if i had the money to buy a gaming PC i would but like many others have mentioned building a PC is expensive and im not to familiar with those kind of technical things, i have PC gamer friends that would help but i simply don't have the money. But the 360 has served me well and hasn't given me problems (iv'e had it for 2 years) im pleased with the gaming selection too. The only reason i don't want a gaming PC is because you constantly have too upgrade the hardware so to me thats the only real downfall.
Video games are art from character concepts to the level design. It takes real talent from concept artist to make amazing enemies like the Locust or the Covenant or Helghast, or Geth. All games are is art, if it wasnt for the art designer the games we all play would'nt be worth playing. I'm trying to become a video game concept artist, all i do is draw and study the designs of the greatest games and even games that arent that popular and see were they where truly expressing originalnism (though its not a word) and awesome concepts , then i try to make my own drawings as unique ,original, amazing and awesome as possible. I also create my own stories and universes to test myself then i discuss them with other artist, writters and story makers. Main characters their enemies and the enviroments they exist in are all art. Every time i beat a game i look at the credits and look at the art designers and give respects for making the game what it was. I hope and dream that one day my designs make it big and are appreciated as much as Shadow of Colossus, Prince of Persia , Metal Gear Solid, Halo, Gears of War, Final Fantasy, Bioshock, Onimusha ,Mass Effect ,Devil May Cry, Tekken, Legend of Zelda, ect....
