@sargentpsgamer: If I had Overwatch I might of asked you to give me some help in actually getting somewhere, it does sound like you are well versed in these kind of competitive team FPS games.

As I said though the experiance kind of fizzled out my hype, I still think the game is good, I just think that if a game is not being enjoyed for whatever reason, it kind of fails for you as the kind of player you are.

The same happened with SFV I just felt like even though I love Capcom fighters I was not the target audience.

In regards to Battleborn, I must confess I have yet to play it, however it also is a game that has me interested, it does seem to have a broader appeal regarding consumer base to so that is a plus.

I tend to like to try my games first though so until then I will just be watching how the game develops given its still being added to :)

@gamerboy100: I would be inclined to agree... it is how I made it through 3 days of being hammered, but after that you kind of start to question if that is the case xD.

Still I do think I follow what you say about characters and balance if only because two thirds of the "play of the game" replays are of bastion ( at least in my experiance ;p )

@Saxondale: I can understand that, it did seem to be hard to follow sometimes, the graphics themselves are nice but yeah there is a lot to the GUI so I can see that also being an issue.

It would be nice if you could customize it to a degree, I think it might help some players who don't really need it to be there in its current state.

I played the Beta, I can see the appeal for competitive people,

the games design seems solid and the skill floor and ceiling seem about right..

I will say however the game just was not really my thing, I kind of blow at the game xD in the 3 days I hammered the game I did not win a single match... I may of been unlucky, but it did feel as though I was letting everybody down... the worst kind of feeling to be sure.

This kind of put me off, maybe it was matchmaking being funny, I did try every class and looked online for tips etc. maybe my reflexes are slowing down as I get older? it happens right? xS

Hmmm... well it does make me a bit sad that I can't really enjoy it, even though I know it is good.. maybe I should just stick to SP games on hard mode.. you can kind of just work your way through to the end that way... -_- still it is not really fair I should miss out xP

@ShimmeringSword @Marky360 Personally I use Steam a hell of a lot so I love digital games, but unlike a console platform, my steam games will always work on my pc via multi boot, mods or emus. While on a console as stated, they, as a rule are not backwards compatible anymore, when Ps3's are no longer produced I have 80 odd Psn games I cant play after my Ps3 dies,at least with a disc I feel like I have something tangible and if an emu happens 10 years from now I don't have to worry about extracting my stuff in an awkward way I can just make an iso etc. Now would I quit gaming over it, no,that's a bit of an over-reaction but I would stop buying into disposable platforms outright, I will just go full STEAM ;P ahead ( yes that was bad I am sorry...)

@jinflorida I tend to buy my games new to, but if it was not for the second hand market I would not be playing all the final fantasy's or discovered the awesome platinum games, pre-owned games are important for numerous reasons including trying old games in a franchise and actually being able to afford the games in the first place due to trade ins

13-15 year old's... manhunt... really? *face palm* this study was a joke the second this was decided to be a good idea. Games have 18 certs for a reason and the people in this study have little in the way of morals... whats the point.. its no different from misguided parenting, heck I would not be surprised if the parents ok'ed the children's participation in the first place.

juju187 are you referring to the story of Thor / Beyond Oasis ? if so There was a sequel on the Sega Saturn, but a decent next gen installment of the series would be most welcome and pre-ordered. As for the whole Lego games thing I think that they are good games but not worth buying, a definite rent, just like the previous ones you can get it done in a weekend and you wont come back...
