[QUOTE="Slashkice"]

Katawa Shoujo was the best PC game this year, this is fact.

EvanTheGamer

I can say that this was probably the most talked about PC game this year.

PC 'gamers' certianly creep me out.

Come on, that game was great, and a real eye-opener to those who've had little experience with disabled folk.

Windows Phone, for my purposes. I'm not big into smartphone gaming.

If you meet someone, or talk to other people. ex "nice meeting you, Godbless, take care, etc." how would you respond?

(just curious)

me? I really can't conclude myself if I believe or I don't. right now I am doubting..

What's more important is what they mean by their words, than the words themselves. So, I just react the same way I would if I were religious.

I'd rather they say god bless instead of go to hell. Tuco_Salamanca

Yeah, I know a few people who enjoy the show. It isn't a big deal. I don't know why people get so worked up over them...

The funny thing is none of you complained that he was too low level to make a topic. :P

On topic though, there were no games that ever influenced me in my outside life tbh. There were some that made me think about the future or how we got here but never actually changed my life in any way.

Ah, rats. :(

Well, that's because sub level 10 topics are normally crap, and can be smelled from a mile away. :P

On topic: Katawa Shoujo. IDK about anything outside of VNs though-- I guess it'd be fair to say that they've each influenced me in subtle ways.

[QUOTE="mccoyca112"]

What can I say. I'm tired of getting updates that makes me "get used to it", rather than impress me. No other site in my personal experience has been so drawn toward disappointment in aesthetic appeal, function, and feature handling. & on such a recurring level at that. Google, in combination with their bs force feeding services, has miraculously made it even more annoying. Who'd thought that to be possible. In any case, I'll "get used to it" soon enough.

Goyoshi12

Wow....I hadn't thought of it like that before but, you're right.

The whole point of these new revisions and upgrades to the website is to improve YouTube in meaningful ways and a small portion is also, I would guess, to impress people with the new designs and how good these updates are getting. Of course there will always be complainers (in many ways rightfully so) but the worst part might actually be from the people who don't mind it and will "get used to it." In reality, that's perhaps the worst thing one can say about a design/website especially one like YouTube that has been changed constantly to get people to like it.

When people say with every update that they'll simply "get used to it," that in itself is pretty much a confirmation that YouTube is not doing it's job at all if people still have to get used to it with every update.

I'm not so sure that is true. I think I read a theory that Facebook has a deliberately large amount of updates (though idk if that's still a fair statement) so that people adjust to the new updates instead of getting bored and looking for alternative services. It's possible that the YouTube managers try this.

It looks nice, but the new front page layout is silly compared to the old one.

Why should recomended and subscribed videos be in the same section? Why should the subscribed videos (in this section) not in reverse-chronological order?

What is the world coming to when you can make a Stefan Eriksson joke and no one gets it?

I suppose the same root cause is responsible for people getting excited about the Ouya. No sense of history.

It's an open system sold at a roughly breaking-even price. The customer doesn't depend on it succeeding commercially.
