Sad but true, CoH 2 became ridiculous and CoH 3 looks set to follow suit unfortunately

@megagood2345: Same here, Odyssey would have ranked higher for me too except the grind did get pretty bad and some of the sidequests felt like a chore to finish. It's in the middle on my list of best AC games too.

@jagdedge124: It's been my experience too: I remember six other friends I know personally who also played AC3 and five of them also said it was a good game. The only person I know who hated AC3 also hated 1 and said 2 was just "slightly less awful," he hates the whole series pretty much with a passion. I think most fans then came onboard with AC2, we got three games with Ezio set mainly in Italy and Constantinople, and fans grew so attached that Connor/Colonial America was such a jarring change.

ACIII had its bugs, and I definitely understand the criticism of it, but I still enjoyed it and the time period quite a bit. Playing it again immediately after the Ezio trilogy, I think ACIII deserved more credit for improving the overall controls and at least the remaster made an attempt to improve a couple aspects we had issues with, especially the stealth and explaining the crafting system better. The Ezio Collection's still a classic for the story and music, but the gameplay did NOT age well imo and I was very disappointed that remaster didn't try to improve it. And yeah, III was a massively disappointing end to the modern day but I still think the latter games could have handled it better or even retconned it instead of what they gave us.

@coreekymon: My understanding is the ruling doesn't force the states to collect taxes, it just says they can demand it if they want to. What I think you'll see is, Oregon may not collect the tax but businesses in states that do may have to raise their prices to compete, so it will likely affect you one way or anther.

@TrueLink: Yeah, it's just too bad when you're living in a state like New Jersey, where the budget's in serious trouble due to years of mismanagement and even corruption. I just know they're gonna milk this ruling for all it's worth; in a couple years, you'll have to be a millionaire just to afford to live in this state. Short-term, they may see revenue from this but I think it'll ultimately lead to more like me just buying less.

@rmiller365: Seriously? I studied political science and I was taught that (double taxation) was illegal. That's just wrong.

@Bobdog52: It would make sense too with this game letting you choose whether your character is a ruthless killer or honorable hero in. I think looser morality fits the Templars more: they had their share of honorable individuals (like Shay and Colonel Munro in Rogue) alongside more ruthless figures, with a few in the middle like Haytham Kenway and (sometimes) Crawford Starrick. In fact I remember that after Shay became a Templar, the "this ancestor didn't kill innocents" message no longer flashed across your screen if you killed a civilian: instead they had a wanted system where bounty hunters would come after you if you became too reckless.

@Bobdog52: Interesting theory I found online is your character becomes a founding member of the future Templar Order. It would make a lot of sense: we know the Templars existed before the Assassins (as the Order of Ancients in Bayek's story), your character's weapon in this game is a Piece of Eden, and it would make sense for the Templars to have their roots in ancient Sparta since they're both so highly structured.

I have both consoles, and Xbox One's definitely got its strong points - especially being able to play my old 360 and even original Xbox games. But if I could only have one console, it'd be PS4 for the exclusives. Nearly all my Xbox One games are multiplatform, or also available on PC (like Gears of War and Halo Wars 2). Sunset Overdrive and Halo 5 are the only real exceptions for me, and while they're really good games (at least, Halo 5's multiplayer was good) I wouldn't say buy the console for them. More than half my PS4 games are exclusives and there ARE games I could recommend buying the console just to play, like Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted 4.
