Whichever next-gen console that IS NOT always online required is the one that I will be purchasing. Idk about everyone else but my iprovider does sporadic hours long maintenance in which the service will be down for the whole night. I would hate to be playing a game that I bought with my hard earned money not to be able to play it.
Plus something smells really fishy about the required kinect in order for the console to work also...why? so MS can compile data on everyone like fb and all those other networking sites? My privacy is more important than your snooping console. Be aware people....big brother is watching.
If the "analyst" is correct at his speculation and MS & Sony decide on increasing games to $70 I will buy a Wii and convert back to retro gaming because the cost now is ridiculous, i.e. ... New game $59.99 (plus tax) + DLC ranging anywhere from 400,800,1600 MS Points ($5,10,20) even seen a few 2000 MS Points ($25) ... So factor that in and your paying close to $100 so you bump the price just shows off the greedy pricks at these companies. #FeedbackulaThis

is it just me or does the graphic resemble similarly to the PS3? Seems like the made another PS3 with some added extras like software updates and such because most of the demos looked like they were run on the PS3..I do understand that it will take a year or so for the developers to really get a handle on the design of their games with the enhanced power of the PS4 but would think they'd have that handled by now...with all the complaining they've done in the past. i.e. Epic Games. *Shrugs*
Right on! If they decided to lower the retail price of the game from anywhere between 30-45 bucks they could reach the profit line they want to take so bad from the resellers. Hell I'd even be more than happy to purchase an extra copy or a limited edition which would probably run 80-100 bucks, seeing how I could purchase the standard game for 30-45. In this economy they better think smart rather than greedy if they want to keep the gamer base. I don't know how many will agree but most real gamers still enjoy last gen consoles and games so I'd have no problem ditching the newer consoles and play the hell out of my Indigo Prophecy or even buy a Wii and play all my favorite retro/nostalgic games.
I remember NFL2k9 with ESPN integrated on the PS2...Every so often I find myself dusting off the PS2 just to play it and it is just as awesome as I remember it. 2K dominated EA for those few years in the football video game battle. I hope 2K reboots the franchise if EA fumbles the ball on the license.
If I remember correctly...I remember hearing about EA giving up its exclusive license or they were going to let it expire. All I know and want is the return of NFL 2K14-15 !!
And again, this is the reason why EA earned the title "Worst Company in America" EA has been trying to squeeze water from a rock for years (Madden series, ME3 and BF3) ... Face it EA, just because you "collect" developers doesn't mean "you" produce quality games...you are a publisher, so continue to make false claims and skew game adverts for little Jim & Suzie because us hardened gamers can smell your bull from coast to coast......Oh in case I forgot [Kick Rocks EA]
