I actually think THPS 3 is one of the best games of all time. :? i thought so even before i heard of this site or even used the internet for videogame reviews. and even though i like XBOX the least (i own all 3) i dont consider myself biased any way and i thought Gears was lame.
but yeah i agree with the article. although im not sure that MS gives Shipped not sold, they are getting their ass kicked regardless saleswise. if Halo 3 was their last chance then i think they truely are boned. beyond Halo 3 and maybe GTA IV (multiplat) i see no upcoming games that would have the brand recognition and casual appeal to bring in a sales boost like many Wii and PS3 games are. the casual gamer outnumbers the hardcore like 9 to 1 so if therefore more important in the eyes of companies.
i bought a PS3 because im a gamer and planned on owning all systems this generation now that im making money :S i already had a launch Wii and my brother has a 360 so we are all set for gaming awesome. we are picking Halo 3 this week and probably Phantom Hourglass too. you know why? we arent losers who debate over which system is better all day long. each has it's ups and downs. (SuxAseS, RRoDeath, bad graphics) but each will have awesome games. this is like the best year of gaming ever.woot!
well im not a noob so i play my Wii regularly to keep dust off of it. although i dont have to touch my Wii to turn it on actually, and i usually keep WarioWare in it. maybe i just dont live in a disgusting house that doesnt get cleaned and allow dust to gather on my expensive electronics. or anything for that matter...:roll:

i agree that Crash Bandicoot and Spyro 1-3 were great but i understand that they can be no more :'( i hope that some of the older Mario, Zelda and Metroid games get remade with super good graphics but keep their perfect 2d gameplay.
LOL i wonder how many cows are going to stick to their word and turn rumble off whenever possible? rumble is not "last gen" and never was. some of the best games ever used rumble brilliantly. like MGS for examble. and Mario Party to a lesser extent. but now i feel burned because i have 2 suxasses, i mean SiXaXiS controllers that will never get rumble:(. but that reminds me of one cow who thought sony would add rumble through a firmware upadate*:D
