Mainly asking the question out of curiosity. The game had unsurprisingly won majority of the Game of the Year award (80%+). Yet, surprisingly, a lot of people said the game wouldn't age well. The game be bad or get outclassed by up coming games like FF15..etc

It's been 30+ months since the game came out. 2017 Q1 sold more Witcher 3 copies than Q1 of 2016 (drop in price is a big culprit) . Has your opnion changed?

Personally, I still strongly believe it's the pinnacle of open world RPG game, especially for the modern games. No matter what RPG game i play, whether it's Fallout 4, Assassin's Creed Origins, or FF15, I can't seem to enjoy them because Witicher 3 did it so much better than those games. This is especially true when Assassins Creed Origins came out. The game is so heavily influenced by W3 that I felt like I'm playing a bad clone.

Blame the consumer

Kids don't know what they are supporting and believe these things aren't too important. After all, most kids have unlimited time and don't understand the value of money. The parents don't know what they are buying their kids; most see nice review (IGN giving Destiny 8+).

It's an idiotic cycle and i do hope some sort of regulation kicks in. I don't mind it being in games but definitely should keep it out of games that are not rated. As an adult, I don't mind supporting certain things, but I don't think kids should because they don't know the consequence.

It's HUGE

It definitely feels like the size of Witcher 3. The problem is, unlike the Withcer 3, the map is mostly desolated. Places you probably wont visit..ever. Think Skellige water's. Sure, it's there; sure it's part of the map, but there is little reason to actually go there. In fact, in Witcher 3, there is more reason to visit some of those water spots for treasure than most places in FF15.

Before Witcher 3, I played games just out of boredom. I had trouble playing games as I found most stories cliche, boring, or something else. I would also revert to some online game like BF, LOL, Dota, Smite..etc

After I played Witcher 3, I got to say; the game ignited the fire in my heart for single player games again. Yet, there is this disappointment. I can't seem to find a game that close to it in story telling, combat, exploration, open world. They always lack a characteristic that tends to bog it down
