A very nice computer and at a good price too. Only bad thing is that it doesn't come with an OS, but some people do have an OS lying around. I have a XP Home Premium one. bedram793

Thanks for the comment,

Yea, I have 2 different OS's lying around so I wasnt to worried about that.

[QUOTE="death1505921"]Solid comp, solid price. The seller has a good feedback rating. But it is Ebay so I'd be wary.death1505921

Thanks for the Comment,
I think of about the same thing, but then again....This person owns his own Online eBay Store, so I dont think he'll be scamming you at all...xD :P

Haha yeah. And he has alot of feedback. I'd probably go for it if I was in the market for a computer, and I didn't really enjoy building/working on my comp. Sick warrenty too. If it was in the UK i'd probably reccomend it to my friend actualy since he's looking for a comp.

:o Howcome you didnt like Building your own PC? I'd really like to know.

See, im currently in the Status of building my own right now, thats why im looking around to see which specific parts I should get. Im just curious as to why you didnt like building it :O

That's looking much better, the video card looks good. Although you should get this RAM, it costs the same and is better.

andyroo08

Ok, thanks for all these tips...You are definitly helping me to success :P

Uhm, just a quick question though, although its the same price, how is it better?

(Theres no problem with me buying that one instead, im just wondering...:P)

Thanks,
George

Well they're better because of the faster timmings, although it's only a small difference, when they're the same price why not get the better one. Also they got heat spreaders better for cooling and overclocking, and just personal preference I prefer corsair over kingston.

Thanks again dude, your really helping me out here xD

Sounds good, thanks for clearing up my little Question i had on the memory. I think i have just 1 more Question to ask. Say i were to overclock my PC when I were to get it. If i bought the INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q6600 2.4GHZ FSB 1066, 8MB QUAD CORE CPU,how much would i be able to clock it? Its already at 2.4, just wondering how high it would go, and what i would need to keep it running smoothly.

Thanks,
George.

Firstly I would drop the network card since the motherboard already has it onboard.

Your CPU will come with a cooler unless it's OEM. It'll do fine unless your overclocking , then I would suggest the Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro instead of the alpine 7, since it isn't much better than the stock cooler.

Get some DDR2 800 it's pretty cheap these days, you could even just get 2GB which is enough for todays games. Corsair, OCZ, patriot, crucial would be some good brands.

Instead of that video card I would suggest the nvidia 8800gt, which costs about the same and performs much better.

That PSU is generic crap, I doubt it's gonna cut it for your system, it might but the quality isn't good. Something like the corsair HX520 would be a great choice. Otherwise just make sure it's from a reputable company such as Antec, Enermax, thermaltake etc.

Although it's not as important as other components, I would reconsider the case. It's cheap, not that great for cooling and looks like some sort of plastic transformer. If your looking for a decent cheap case, cooler master has a few like the centurion 5.

andyroo08

Thanks for letting me know about the Network Card, I actually never looked at the detail until now about the built-in Network Card. Thats a great saving :P

The CPU Cooler should save me some money too now that i know i dont have to buy that either. :P

Your also right about the RAM, its much cheaper to get the DDR2 800, instead ive choosen to go with this one instead. Click

Thanks for the tip on the graphics card. I think ill look into buying this one...can you tell me if its a good card? Click

I think for the case im going to go with the ThermalTake Armour Series, because it looks massive on the inside. There seems to be alot of room to move things around...just better to get because i heard the nVidia 8800gt is pretty big :P

Thanks for everyones comments on the PSU. Obviously, its crap. Ill probably look into something like the corsair HX520 because that seems alright.

Thanks for all the Comments, more are Welcome,
George
