ive never really played many rts games, and I want to start. starcraft 2 looks really good so I want to play some others. I played the world in conflict demo, but thats it. I have played civ , and the game I really played alot of was battle for middle earth 2 for my 360. So which rts gamesplay like that, I really like building and upgrading walls, building armies and stuff like middle earth. Conflict was fun, so ill play that style as well, I just really liked middle earth.

Ive looked this up and cant find anything. i download punkbuster it starts up and it says since its your first time , then auto update. i exit out of it and its nowhere to be found. its not on my computer anywhere. so when i click the setup again it says the same thing, first time update. so i need help. i wanna play some games that use punkbuster but i have no clue whats wrong. i have windows 7 and i use firefox.not sure if any of those matter. when i download the setup i save the file and download. i even unzipped the whole file, and ran as admin.i can put games on it as long as the window is open, it downloads the newest updates for that game, then after i close it its gone. so basically i download it, its there then i close it and it off my computer like i just temporarily downloaded it.i did a search through my whole computer. I had punkbuster like 2 weeks ago but i just built a new pc. so I know how to use it.

i got an i5 system built and was wondering, cause i ran the smart 6 program just to try out other clocking levels. i did 3dmark06 and got 15000 stock. then oced to 3.0 and got 15500. now i could also oc it to 3.8 which i did, but since i have a stock cooling setup, it ran a little high so i put it back after a minute or 2. I played crysis warhead and got around 25 to 30 fps at stock. then oced it to 3.0. and I got the exact amount of fps. Im running a gtx 9800+ 1gb card. So I was wondering if I cant see a diiference when overclocking because its not that much of a difference or because my video card is just holding me back. Im kinda guessing it my video card and that 3.0 isnt that much of an improvement. what do you guys think. if i get a better video card would overclocking make more of an impacted or not really. If it would how high is a decent overclock without having my cpu die in like 2 years. and i will be getting a cooler as well, so maybe suggestions on a real good cooling setup. thanks

and seankane, if you played it without optical on the 360 then optical on ps3, you would understand. its a huge difference. on the ps3 it was so loud and explosions shook everything. trust me.

the only game i picked over 360 cause of sound was bad company. it sounded so amazing in the demo, then i played it on 360 and it didnt have nearly the same sound quality. i didnt have many games for it so i just got it for that. either way ive been playing all day and i cant believe the difference. lol I really do feel stupid.

So ive had my 360 since it came out, i paid extra since you couldnt get them right away. I even had a post about how the sound quality isnt good compared to my ps3 since it uses optical, and people were saying its because ps3 has optical and 360 doesnt. just 2 days ago i was talking to my friend about those head phones that have 7.1 surround sound, and he happend to mention the optical plug in the back of the video plug thing. i cannot believe i never knew. i even bought certain games on my ps3 cause of the sound quality, like battlefield bad company, since just plugging in the normal plugs to my surround sound doesnt make it sound close to as good as the ps3. Im not sure if the 360 with optical sounds as good or not, i havent played too much yet. So am I the only person that didnt know that.
