Could not edit my original post. Found the culprit. An addon called Ghostery had silently updated itself and had flagged content on Gamespot as suspicious, thus blocking it. I added Gamespot to the whitelist and all worked fine.

Hopefully this will help some others?

I have been a member of Gamespot for quite a while, and I am a Total Access Subscriber. However the last few days I have been getting a message saying that I need Flashplayer 10 in roder to watch a video (streaming) and clicking on the download option does not bring up the list of files to download as it used to do.

I did click the link provided to download Flashplayer and closed my browser (Firefox, but I have also tried IE9) before installing. Re opening the browser after installing and choosing a video to watch again does the same in both browsers. A link to one that I wanted to watch/download is http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/deadspace2/video/6286489?tag=gumballs%3Bimg%3B2 which straight away shows the message. Clicking HighDef just reloads the page with the same message and clicking Download does nothing as mentioned.

Can anyone suggest anything to help?

I subscribed to the RSS feed for the Downloads blog http://uk.gamespot.com/rss/site_blog.php?id=909186646 and I get the same update constantly regarding Pylo Noveau.

Even though I show it as read, it will show up again within a few hours. FYI I am using Googles RSS read as well as FeedDemon for my desktop. It is getting increasingly annoying to read the same "news" constantly.

Is there something wrong there with regard to this feed? I subscribe to quite a few other feeds and they are all fine, it is just this one :(
