Asian Internet cafes are amazing places though, they're completely void of anything but ambient light so you totally loose track of time. You also get games, manga, ice cream, snacks and drinks on tap 24/7! for a pretty low cost. I spent my last night in Tokyo in one because I had run out of cash for a hotel and was perfectly comfortable lol :P (i'd overstayed by 3 months! such is the epic of Japan)
Very interesting article.. There should be more pieces like this on gaming sites. I'm sure that with more exposure and awareness attitudes will change.
