[QUOTE="bigblunt537"]

[QUOTE="Ontain"] aren't you still reliant on your parents for food at that age? I mean even if you buy your own it's your parents that gave you the money. most 14 year olds aren't working...and at 555 lbs i doubt she would be.LZ71

It is the parents fault. You don't just wake up 1 day at 14 and eat your way to 555 lbs. This kid was always overfed and as he got older he CONTINUED eating like he was taught to. He's 14 not 21. He eats how mama told him.

Bull****. It's as much the kids fault as the parents. He didn't have to eat all that food that was prepared for him. He couldv'e gone outside and excercised. While the mom did do wrong, the kid could have done nothing about it.

When was the last time you took dietary advice from a 14 year old? Kids are neither mature, disciplined, responsible, educated nor experienced. That's why kids need parents in the first place: to compensate for the kid's lack of life experience.

All kids do all day long is whine about wanting ice cream and candy. The average kid would have sugar and fast food at every meal if given the opportunity. Most parents are responsible enough not to allow them this, but if they do get to eat junk food all the time, they will develop obesity over time.

The mother failed, period.

1. Ask her out.
2. Kiss her.

If you fail, you will at least know whether she likes you. On to the next girl.

(Has to be a laptop since I'll also be using it for work.)

I haven't played new games on PC for almost five years, so I am completely out of the loop when it comes to hardware.

I'm looking to save money, but I'm not interested in any Celeron crap. I would give you a price range, but I live in China and I don't think it's a good indicator since there was just a huge currency drift. Basically, I just want to be able to play Starcraft II at somewhat acceptable settings when it comes out in another year or so.

Also, are widescreen monitors a must these days? Sorry if this isn't enough information, but any recommendations would be welcome.

[QUOTE="DJ_Novakain"][QUOTE="Netherscourge"]

Jesus was born sometime around the 5th or 6th century BC.

Netherscourge

That is way off..

I know - I changed it - it's AD not BC

Still wrong.

Jesus wasn't actually born in 0 CE, but between 7-2 BCE. Does that mean everyone who believes he was the son of God should adjust their calendars?

South Park by a mile, although the last few episodes have been very poor. I predict Parker and Stone won't sign on for additional seasons once the current contract expires.

I have never once laughed at a Family Guy joke. Family Guy is just another lazy, reference-based pop culture satire that never risks offending its audience since it only goes after safe targets among demographics that would never watch the show anyway. The audience is never challenged, so there is zero shock value. Never will you see Family Guy pull the sort of stuff that South Park has done with e.g. Steve Irwin shortly after his death, or Christopher Reeve, or devote entire episodes to topics like child molestation, drug use, paraphilia, religion or racism.

Wouldn't solve anything, no, because there are already hundreds of millions of guns in the country.

What an epiphany, by the way! This is the first time in my seven years of posting BS on the Internet that I've ever replied to a thread (1) with a single sentence and (2) without even reading the first post, solely basing my lazy-ass reply on the topic title, like the majority of you teenage Gamespot morons. FYI it took five shots of Jägermeister and two beers to sink to this level.
