Can't say I'm surprised. Stuff was way too expensive at retail price and far too generous (cheap) when on special. Add to the fact that there are way cheaper alternatives online (Ebay, ozgameshop etc) and the fact that opened shops are really ridiculous locations (Oakleigh Centro...I mean really, it was gone after about a year or so) and it's easy to see why. I hope the floor employees will be able to get new jobs.

I feel bad for those in the U.K. Here in Australia, the system will be $820 for the 20GB and $999(!!) for the 60GB. Laughable. I really think the PS3 will be a great system but the price is simply baffling. If it was possible, I'd buy it without the Blu-Ray if it meant a price reduction but Sony seems insisting in pushing a new format with a new console. I'd like to get one but the Xbox-360 is becoming more attractive with each passing day I'm afraid.
