I think the reason that CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 2 made a BILLION DOLLARS in two weeks because of the Multi-Player hype...seems like all those hardcore gamers want to be number one on the leader boards. The mass market (18-34 year-olds....in reality 13-34 year olds) don't shell out $60 bucks for story appeal in games anymore. So, for those wondering why TOMB RAIDER is getting multi-player on such short notice, it's because of the sound of cash flying out of those hardcore multi-player freaks is really irresistible to the game publisher.
I really don't know what's the big deal with multiplayer games....it's very monotonous and gets boring really quick too....another map, same ole shoot 'em up. I prefer the story missions with cutscenes.
I would like to see more "co-op" games....in the same room.
