Who wrote the text to this feature because it sounds like some internal PR the way it gushes about the "console". If GS wrote it, you should get out of bed with these guys and be more objective. Regardless, the concept sounds promising.

"the PS3 may have free online play, but you'll easily spend an extra \\$5-10 a month on your electric bill with the PS3, therefore negating the cost of XBL" Wow, that's quite interesting. Never even thought of that. Thankfully my mother still pays the electricity. Will be moving out at the end of Year 12 though XD Yes, and it's also quite BS as well - $10 extra per month on one item being on for several hours a day? Get a grip - the PS3 runs very quietly - it's noisiest moment is when you first turn it on.

*Maybe* at the beginning of their lives, this sort of thing is interesting but we are talking about tiny differences now between the two consoles. As ALLoY1717 wrote, stop with the naming of the consoles - that would be far more interesting. I love Fallout 3 but I don't love it because of the quality of the Super Duper sign on a building - it's the sum of all the parts that make for the greater game.

69ANT69 Posted Sep 21, 2008 8:25 am GMT What is the point?, wouldn't it work out cheaper to just get a normal freeview box. ---- A "normal" box won't get firmware upgrades and you'll never get a decent hard drive for that price as well. Plus, most won't record one channel whilst you watch another.

I'm really impressed so far and the firmware upgrades via PSN will keep it up to date easily. 1080 is gorgeous and once it's loaded the system moves very quickly. Only potential flaw is that it doesn't record programs: it records time slots so if a program's time adjust it won't change the recording times. This is something they can work out though. Using Remote Play with PSP is superb and saving programs to the XMB and then onto a PC is definitely the way forward.

--PS_Player92-- I hope SONY can start getting some more of the issues with the PS3 fixed. Rumble function is fixed now time to move on to the next. Which issues, please?
