@Wiro_: You're wrong about Wii U's gflops. It's actually 176GFLOPS(half of 352). The Switch's GPU is much more efficient and modern than the wii u, and has current generation shaders that match ps4 and xbone that the wii u lacks and surpasses it in handheld mode.
Fuuck. I really hope they reconsider. I've been owning cod on nintendo consoles since the cod waw wii days, and this is quite a low blow for Nintendo. The Switch is already doing better than the Wii U right off the gate, and it absolutely needed this.. Sometimes third parties just have to take the risk and go with it, especially a new console in its first year to build the install base.
There's no hatred for Nintendo. Third party companies just want profit, and they weren't getting much profit from the Wii U, so they're being extra cautious. Some are a lot more cautious than others. It's just so disappointing to see Ubisoft and Activision of all third party companies hold back to "test the waters" on Nintendo's new console on the first year with the AAA 3rd party games.
And the Switch's architecture isn't difficult to port games to at all. Not being x86 is not a big deal as ARMS is an easy and universal architecture to develop for as well.
