@zerocool55 Part of the fun was to figure out how to play the game. I didn't ever read the manual of SimCity 4, and yes it is a difficult game, but that is part of the fun. There are plenty of user written guides on it as well. If you like the recent trend of dumb down facebook games go for them, but dumbing down gameplay for the sake of simplification is the wrong direction to take for SimCity.
Are you not aware of what EA have done to this game, and the franchises it have?
Persistent online DRM, Origin only, dumb down gameplay---no god mode, no save and load, no subways, small map sizes, no region customization (fixed neighbourhood connections), no terraforming, no way to make connected metropolis (fixed empty space between cities), no farms, the list go on
This blog sums up all the community concerns and problems, yet no official response. What I hate most is, when Maxis was doing community Q&A, they decided to ignore all the pressing question and pick the easy ones that had already been answered in previous FAQs. Shame on them.
@cirugo @pl4yer_f0und Lol sad but true. It's also more SimTown than SimCity with the limited city size. This compounded with dumb down gameplay of no teraforming, fixed region layout and highway network, lack of subways, forced online play, persistent (no save and load) nature... This is just a disaster and slap in the face for hardcore SimCity fans.
"Overall, FXAA is hyper-efficient relative to other methods, and in most cases, produces better results."
You wrote one sentence earlier MSAA produce more accurate results, just more taxing, and then you wrote FXAA produces better results in most cases, this makes no sense.
