The biggest problem with Sega making another console, is that well, they just don't have the money anymore. Not only that, but the sega that we all loved from the DC days is long gone. I hate to say it, but sega lately hasn't even been able to make some decent games, never mind a good console. As much as i would love to have another Sega console, I really don't think we will ever see it again. Since they are only software now, they really don't seem to have the same love they used to, and as such there games kinda suck, i mean has anyone played the Sonic for x360/PS3? Its HORRIBLE! Sega from days of old would never have made such a crappy game. The love is just not there anymore and as such i don't see them ever returning to the console front. They have gone the way of Atari, its a shame, for both of those companies.

In all honesty, what games do you wanna play? If i was you, i would look around, see what upcoming or current games you wanna play, and then make the call based on that. I mean if you wanna Play Crysis, and Quake Wars then definatly upgrade the PC. If you wanna Play Xbox 360 games, like Halo3 and Forza 2 then buy a 360. I don't feel one is a better buy then the other, really just based on what games you wanna play.

So far due to the nature of my old TV (36" Sony Trinitron) S-Video is the highest it has to input, so that what i run all my consoles with, Monster Cable S-Video Cables. Except the odd console that is really hard to find cables for now, like my Dreamcast and Genesis. That is till i get a new TV, then it will be HDMI for everything i can.

Right now, the Sharp Aquios is by far probably the best LCD TV for the money, i mean just go into the store and look at the Aquios running beside pretty much anything and it will best it, they are VERY nice TV's. For the money they are by far the best bang for the buck.

Well first thing it sounds liek to me, is that you need to install your Sound card drivers, if its onboard, you need to figure out what kind it is, go to there website and download the latest vista drivers.

As for your Messaging proggy not connecting, have you got it running as an administrator? Vista is funny about stuff like that, make sure you are running it as an administrator (right click, under properties, check box that says run as an administrator) and make sure that its not blocked in the windows firewall as well. Just go check the windows firewall under your control panel, and look up your IM proggy, if it doesn't have a chek beside it, add one, and hopefully that helps.
